Welcome Home To Hillcrest Manor!
Hillcrest Manor is a nonprofit 501c3, 202/8 Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funded development located in Leavenworth, Kansas. Because of our agreement with HUD, we accept applications from seniors age 62 and older, and also people age 18 and older with verified disabilities. Hillcrest Manor opened its doors in 1981 with the goal of providing maintenance-free living for seniors and people living with disabilities. The vision was birthed by three churches: Independent Baptist, Sunflower Missionary Baptist, and First Baptist, all located in Leavenworth.
Our property site team has the professional skills and credentials required by the housing industry. “We Care” is not just our motto, but also the goal for our standard of operation which includes the following:
- Maintaining high compliance ratings;
- Extending the asset value of the property;
- Assisting residents to “age in place.” This means creating a place where our residents can live in their home safely, independently, and comfortably regardless of age or ability level; and
- Creating a residential community focused on our residents.
Through continuing education and training, our property site team supports residents in their daily living. We also keep them engaged in the larger community by coordinating educational, cultural, and supportive programs and activities for their personal development. At Hillcrest Manor, we believe in “Doing Better than Our Best” for our residents.
At Hillcrest Manor, our residents have the comfort and convenience of a well-designed and interactive community. Most of all, they stay with us because of the friendships they form and the attention given by our property site team. Read what our residents have to say.
Hillcrest Manor offers a host of amenities including a community room in the low-rise building, several social areas, and a library in partnership with the local library, laundry facility, and computer area.
